TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions form the agreement between Ida May (“the Photographer”) and the Client.

Confirmation of a booking, whether written or verbal, constitutes acceptance of these terms.

BOOKING & PAYMENT

A £100 deposit is required to secure your session.

The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot.

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session — deposit refunded or transferred
• Cancellations within 48 hours — deposit is non-refundable
• Failure to attend the session — full session fee is payable

Rescheduling is subject to availability.

SESSION

Sessions are typically between 90 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the nature of the shoot.

Each session is intentionally unhurried, and we work until the required images have been achieved. Sessions may conclude earlier if both Client and Photographer agree.

Late arrival may reduce shooting time.

CREATIVE APPROACH

The Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the Photographer’s style and approach.

All images are created and edited at the Photographer’s discretion, reflecting their artistic judgement.

While every effort is made to capture the Client’s preferences, no specific image, pose or outcome can be guaranteed.

The Client is responsible for communicating any requirements or preferences prior to and during the session.

There is no right to reject images based on style, composition or editing.

IMAGE DELIVERY

A private online proof gallery will be delivered within 24 hours of the session.

The Client will select their included retouched images from this gallery.

Final retouched images are delivered within 7–10 working days from selection.

Selected images are delivered in high resolution.

RETOUCHING

Each session includes 3 retouched images.

Retouching is natural and minimal.

Additional retouched images are charged at £25 per image.

Once retouch selections have been submitted, they cannot be changed or cancelled.

Further retouching requests may incur additional charges at the Photographer’s discretion.

COPYRIGHT & USAGE

All images remain the copyright of the Photographer.

The Client is granted a license to use the final retouched images for personal and professional use (including casting platforms, websites and social media).

Images may not be sold, altered, filtered or edited without written permission.

Unedited or raw images are not supplied.

The Photographer retains the right to use images for portfolio, website and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing.

SOCIAL MEDIA

When sharing images online, credit to the Photographer is appreciated.

Images must not be altered, cropped or edited.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that any third party sharing the images also complies with these terms.

LIABILITY

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to perform the session due to circumstances beyond their control (including illness, accident or equipment failure), all payments will be refunded.

The Photographer shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

In the event of loss, damage or technical failure of images, liability is limited to the total amount paid.

RESHOOTS

Reshoots are at the discretion of the Photographer and are chargeable.

Reshoots will not be offered due to styling choices, hair, make-up, or failure to communicate concerns during the session.

ARCHIVING

Client images are stored for up to 3 months after the session.

After this period, files may be permanently deleted.

Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images.

GENERAL

All bookings are subject to change in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

The Photographer is not liable for travel costs or other expenses incurred by the Client due to changes or cancellations.
